Popular TV show ‘Naagin 5′ actor Sharad Malhotra has tested positive for COVID-19. He is currently in home quarantine. However, Sharad‘s wife, Ripci Bhatia has tested negative for COVID-19. The actor is showing mild symptoms and is under medical supervision.
Now, as per Time Of India report, a source close to the team informed, “The shoot for the show has been stalled for three days as per standard protocol. All cast and crew members are being tested, and those who test negative will resume shoot. The actor, who has contracted the virus, will join the shoot only after 15 days.”
After Sharad tested positive for coronavirus, his ‘Naagin 5‘ co-star Surbhi Chandna and Mohit Sehgal took their social media to inform fans about their health. Surbhi wrote in her IG story, “Thank you for the concern pouring in. Shall update as and when I get my test results.”
Mohit Sehgal wrote, ‘I am absolutely fine..no symptoms as of now but still, I have isolated myself at home..will update as and when my test reports come. Praying for Sharad Malhotra‘s speedy recovery. Get well soon bro.’
