On April 20, 2021, Hina Khan has faced an irreparable loss with her father leaving the world for heavenly abode. The Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress’ father passed away due to cardiac arrest. Hina who was shooting for her upcoming project in Kashmir with actor Shaheer Sheikh immediately rushed back to Mumbai.
Soon after the news her Father’s demise came, the social media was inundated with condolence messages and messages supporting Hina. Many ITV celebs, Hina Khan‘s co-stars and friends including Arjun Bijlani, Eijaz Khan, Rubina Dilaik, Nikki Tamboli paid tribute to the actress’ father.
Now, the actress has shared a statement on social media. Hina took to her Instagram handle and posted a story revealing that she will be taking a break from social media amid this period of mourning. She also expressed gratitude towards everyone who had checked on her and her family in this tough period.
Hina‘s statement reads, “My beloved father Aslam Khan left for heavenly abode on the 20th April 2021. I am grateful to each one of you for checking in on me and my family during these tough times. While me and my family are mourning the loss, my social media accounts will be handled by my team for upcoming work commitments. Thank you for your support & love.”
