After the huge success of Salman Khan‘s reality show Bigg Boss 13, Colors TV‘s popular reality show Bigg Boss all set to return with it’s season 14. Soon after a month of Bigg Boss 13 finale, the nationwide lockdown has announced due to coronavirus pandemic. Now, amid COVID-19 pandemic, the preparations for the next season of Bigg Boss hosted by Salman Khan has already started but this time, it is more challenging for makers.
According to the latest reports in Mid-Day, makers has already completed the online auditions and had selected total of 30 contestants out of which 16 will enter the Bigg Boss 14 house. Among all these 16 finalists, 13 are said to be celebrity contestants and the rest 3 are the commoners.
The reality show, which usually starts in the first week of October. Now delayed by a month owing to the coronavirus pandemic and lockdown. A source close to Mid-Day revealed that, “While the show had started on October 1 last year, this time around, the shoot is likely to begin from the last week of October.”
The source further added, “The participants will be a mix of celebrities and commoners. The team has shortlisted 30 people, of which 16 will enter the Bigg Boss house. The 16 contestants, comprising 13 celebrities and three commoners, will be tested for COVID-19 before being sent inside the house. The set as well as the items inside the house will be sanitised. The set will be constructed at Film City, and Salman will travel from his Bandra residence for the shoot. Only on Saturdays, will he be at his chalet.”
The reports also suggests that the upcoming season will have a jungle theme.
