Popular TV actor Vijayendra Kumeria, who is best known for his role in TV shows like Tumhari Paakhi, Udaan, Naagin, is currently seen in the Star Plus show ‘Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha‘. The actor feels that spirituality is a sense of connection with the supreme power that is much higher than what we are. Vijayendra, who is spiritually inclined, believes in doing good to others and staying true to himself.
In an interaction with ETimes, Vijayendra quoted saying, “I believe in the law of cause and effect… you can call it karma, too. When you do the right things, you attract positivity. I don’t know how you experience spirituality, but the happiness you get while doing good to others feels wonderful. I feel at peace. It also makes me patient and calm and makes me realise that whatever happens, happens for a reason. I feel that the universe gives back to you what you give to it.”
The actor who meditates for some time daily, says that, “I feel peaceful and energetic and, at the same time, more connected to myself and the universe. I don’t follow any guru in particular, but yes, I watch a lot of spiritual content on the internet. I am a believer of Lord Krishna. From whatever I have read about him and his teachings in the Bhagavad Gita, I have learnt things that I try to implement in my own life. His philosophy is valid especially in today’s times.”
Vijayendra says that the pandemic has made us more compassionate and spiritual too. He says, “We all got a lot of time for introspection about what we want to be and how we want to live our lives. I chose to get to know myself better and understand more about spirituality. I believe in doing what is right and leave things to the universe. And I also think that minimum expectations lead to peace and happiness.”
