Mumbai police likely to summoned Filmmaker Karan Johar in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case. Recently, police had summoned Karan Johar ‘s manager and Dharma Productions‘ CEO, Apoorva Mehta, in Sushant Singh Rajput‘s case.
Bollywood actor Sushnat Singh Rajput passed away on 14 June 2020. As per reports, he was battling with depression and committed suicide at his Bandra residence. The postmortem reports of the actor revealed that he died due to asphyxia because of hanging. Mumbai Police haven’t recovered any suicide note at the place.
However, Police is still investigating the case from every angle and interrogating people close to the late actor. Till now, police has recorded the statements of over 40 people in connection with Sushant‘s suicide case.
It includes Sushant‘s family, his close friends, Gf Rhea Chakraborty, Filmmaker-Aditya Chopra, Sanjay Leela Bhansali among others. And, latest who has recorded the statements includes Dharma Productions‘ CEO Apoorva Mehta and Karan Johar‘s manager and Mahesh Bhatt.
Now, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh said, if needed Karan Johar will also summoned by Mumbai Police. He said, “Karan Johar‘s manager has been summoned, and if needed we’ll summon Karan Johar as well.”
“Mahesh Bhatt will record his statement in a day or two,” Deshmukh quoted as saying by news agency PTI.
