The current track of Rupali Ganguly–Gaurav Khanna starrer Anupamaa revolves around Anuj and Vanraj meeting with an deadly accident as they falls into the cliff. Polices takes Anuj-Vanraj to hospital as both were in critical condition. While Anupama and other family prays for their recovery, Ankush doubts if Adhik or Barkha is involved in the accident. Ankush question Adhik if he is done anything as he used to hate both Anuj-Vanraj but he denies it. Ankush tries to call Barkha to know truth but fails.
Meanwhile, Anup and Kavya both stands heartbroken seeing their husband’s lying in the ICU. All family members one by one recalls their experiences with Anuj and Vanraj. Just then, a doctor comes and reveals to everyone that Anuj and Vanraj’s condition is getting worse and that their response over the next 48 hours will be vital.
Meanwhile, Kavya who’s shattered with the accident, tells how angry Vanraj was last night and she knew he will do something bad. She reveals that she saw Anuj and Vanraj together in car and decided to follow them. Kavya says she tried to stop them but failed as they both were standing near the cliff and if she screams to stop them they might have fall. She adds that she decided to stop them by going near to them but before she could reach Anuj and Vanraj vanished from that place.
She breaks down in tears telling everyone that she has no idea what exactly occurred between Anuj and Vanraj. Ankush fumes in anger since he had been trying to know the truth from Kavya since beginning. Ankush accuses Vanraj of everything because he threatened Anuj. However, Toshu, Baa and even Samar stand up for Vanraj and takes his side saying he cannot take someone’s life.

Anupama screams seeing everyone fighting in the same hospital where Anuj and Vanraj are battling for their lives. She asks everyone to pray for them. The doctor further comes tells everyone that Vanraj is responding to the treatment, but Anuj is not. Hearing this, Anupama shatters and cries while Baa asks her to stay strong since Anuj would soon reply.
In the upcoming episode, Vanraj will gain consciousness and would urge doctors to meet Anupama. Vanraj will confess that he pushed Anuj down the cliff in rage and Anupamaa will be shocked learning the truth.
Anupamaa, produced by Rajan Shahi under Director’s Kut Productions. The show is based on Star Jalsha’s Bengali series Sreemoyee. There’s also a Marathi version of the show which runs on Star Pravah titled Aai Kuthe Kai Karte.
