Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput breathed his last on 14 June 2020. The actor was battling with depression and has committed suicide at his Bandra residence, as per reports. The postmortem reports of the actor revealed that he died due to asphyxia because of hanging.
However, Mumbai Police is still investigating the case from every angle and interrogation people close to Sushant Singh Rajput. Till now, police has interrogated over 40 people in connection with late actor’s suicide case.
It includes, Sushant‘s family, his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Aditya Chopra and Mukesh Chhabra. SSR‘s co-star Sanjana Sanghi, friend Sandip Ssingh, Film critic Rajeev Masand among others.
Now, Filmmaker Rumi Jaffery arrived at Bandra police station to record his statement in Late Actor’s suicide case. Reportedly, director-scriptwriter Rumi Jaffery was planning to make a romantic comedy with Sushant Singh Rajput and Rhea as the lead pair.

As per reports, Jaffery spoke to Sushant over phone call two days before actor’s death on June 12. And, it was during that conversation Jaffery got to know about Sushant‘s depression. Besides, Rumi, who was a close friend of Sushant, also claimed that the late actor wanted to quit acting and start farming.
