Today on Sunday, Union minister Smriti Irani praised actor Sonu Sood for helping migrants to go back home amid Coronavirus lockdown.
The actor has arranged several buses for the migrant workers after obtaining special permissions from different state governments. Smriti Irani tagging the tweet of Sonu Sood, in which he asked a migrant worker to share his number. So that he can arrange a bus for him to travel back home. She wrote, “I’ve had the privilege of knowing you as a professional colleague for over 2 decades now @SonuSood & celebrated your rise as an actor ;but the kindness you have displayed in these challenging times makes me prouder still. thank you for helping those in need.”

In the tweet, Sonu had written in Hindi language that, “Paedal kyun jaaoge dost, number bhejo. (Why will you walk to go back home, friend, send your number).”
The actor has tweeted this in response to a person who had tagged him asking for help. He wanted to reach Uttar Pradesh his home and from there, he would walk back to his village, the person said in his tweet.
