Today, India is celebrating the holy festival of Janmashtami, the birth of Lord Krishna. On the special occasion of Krishna Janmashtami, Bigg Boss 13 winner Sidharth Shukla wishes everyone Happy Janmashtami. The actor recalls his school days when he couldn’t break ‘matkis’ on Janmashtami.
Krishna Janmashtami is celebrated in various manner around the nation. The one of the highlights of this festival is the breaking of Dahi Handi, more like a community program, that always leads to immense joy.
Meanwhile, Sidharth Shukla feels sad for kids not getting to break the ‘Matkis’ this year. The actor recalls his school days when he wanted to break ‘matkis’ but unfortunately he didn’t get offs from school.
Taking to his twitter handle, Sidharth wrote, “Back in d day … I used to look forward to Janmashtami as the next day I wanted to break Matkis in my colony but unfortunately we didn’t get offs from school…..but now I feel worse for school kids as they don’t have school but no breaking matkis ….neway #HappyJanmashtami.”
