During her stay inside Bigg Boss 14 house, Rubina Dilaik had spoke about having suicidal thoughts and being distanced from family, few years back. Now, in an recent interaction with Bollywood Hungama, Rubina Dilaik revealed what helped her get through her tough phase. Speaking about battling depression, She recalled the time, about 7-8 years ago and described herself as “unstable, over-ambitious, insecure”.
The Shakti actress said that she was “not knowing what to do, not understanding how to handle professional life with personal life, away from family, too much into work and not find time to make friends”. She explained how in such a situation, she just isolated herself from the “possibility of needing a happy fulfilling life.”
Rubina revealed that she listened to audio tapes, took self-help courses to understand what she is going through. The actress mentioned she started online counselling and therapy and reading too. The actress further said that as she wanted to find peace with something, she found relief with Yoga and meditation.
Rubina also revealed that she read about things on the internet and mentioned reading journals. The actress said that she took baby steps like talking to family and friends, reading, counselling sessions and more to help herself get through the tough phase.
