Popular TV actress Rashami Desai grabbed lot of attention with her amazing stint in the reality show Bigg Boss 13. The actress enjoys immense popularity after reality show. After Bigg Boss 13, Rashami featured in a music video alongside actor Shaheer Sheikh and also did a short film Tamas with actor Adhvik Mahajan. Not only this, She also made her digital debut with web show ‘Tandoor‘ on Ullu app opposite actor Tanuj Virwani.
In a recent interaction with Bombay Times, Rashami opened up about working on different platforms like TV, OTT and films. She quoted saying, “I’m an actress and I would like to be limitless. I would like to take up any project that makes me happy, where I will give my thousand per cent. It may be TV, OTT, short films, albums or even walking the ramp, it’s a personal choice. I don’t understand why people categorise things. I want to be part of amazing projects and it should be about how I perform and how the audience connects with my performance. The medium shouldn’t matter.”
Speaking about her journey in showbiz so far, Rashami said, “I started my career at a young age because I had no choice, I had certain situations to take care of. I think for a very long time, I kept running from one thing to the other, trying to do everything. But I’m happy that there is stability now and I want to do good work. My dreams are not complete yet as an actress, I’m working towards that. I know I’ll get there and that’s a very beautiful feeling.”
She also talked about being part of reality show Bigg Boss, Rashami said, “Being part of Bigg Boss 13 was a very big decision, it was a very courageous decision on my part. I don’t have any regrets about doing the show. There are few things that come with their pros and cons, but then that’s how life is. This platform over the years has given a lot to contestants, but they need to appreciate it. I’m glad that I was a part of that season because it has contributed to my life in a very big way. In fact, I am more than happy that I did the show.”
