Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen’s in their interview shares that ‘Don’t want daughter to see us share a relationship where we both are not happy’
The divorce of popular actors Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen has been making headlines lately. The couple is scheduled for their final divorce hearing on June 8. Ahead of this significant event, Charu shared insights into how she and Rajeev have been successfully co-parenting their daughter, Ziana.
Charu emphasized that her main concern is ensuring a healthy environment for Ziana. She expressed her desire for her daughter to grow up in a home where her parents have a positive and respectful relationship. For this reason, Charu and Rajeev have put in efforts to maintain a cordial co-parenting arrangement.
“Ziana is Rajeev and my responsibility and she is our child. Rajeev can meet her whenever he wants. I always say that he’s always welcome to spend time with her,” Charu Asopa shared with ETimes. She expressed her willingness to send their daughter to be with her father, but clarified that living together is not an option.
Charu Asopa emphasized the importance of mutual respect between her and Rajeev for the sake of their daughter. “I believe it is best for us to co-parent Ziana. I want our daughter to witness us treating each other with respect and kindness. I don’t want Ziana to observe a relationship between Rajeev and me that lacks happiness and becomes toxic for her as well.”
Charu on Rajeev’s relationship with Ziana
Rajeev posted a video of his time spend with Ziana on social media. Charu addressed their relationship by saying, “Ziana is Rajeev and my responsibility. She is our child. Rajeev can meet her whenever he wants. I always say that he is always welcome to spend time with Ziana. In fact, if he wants I can drop Ziana at his place and I recently sent Ziana to be with her father. That’s not a problem. Par hum dono ka saath uske baare mein kya hi bolun…”
Rajeev Sen recently posted a video to his YouTube channel in which he discussed the impending divorce proceedings from his point of view. He was upbeat and claimed that he, Charu, and their daughter would all gain from the separation. Rajeev was aware that the second and last court hearing, scheduled for June 8, was quickly approaching. He emphasized that whatever transpires on that day, it will ultimately be for the welfare of him, his daughter, and Charu, with a positive outlook. However, Rajeev believes that whatever transpires, it will be for the best. He assured his viewers that they will eventually learn the outcome.

‘I want Ziana to see us both respecting each other’
Charu went on to say that she wanted Ziana, her daughter, to see a good relationship between her and Rajeev. She emphasized the value of respect for one another in the hopes that Ziana will see them being kind and admiring of one another. Charu is convinced that Ziana will gain a better understanding of relationships as a result of this healthy example, which will also help to create an environment that is conducive to her personal growth charu said, “I feel it’s better this way that we both are co-parenting Ziana.
