Star Plus show Anupamaa is riding high on success, and keeping the viewers hooked to with its interesting twists and turns. Anupamaa stars Rupali Ganguly, Sudhanshu Pandey and Gaurav Khanna in pivotal roles. The channel has recently shared the Valentine’s day promo leaving all #MaAn fans surprised. The promo features Anupama surprising Anuj on their first Valentine as she finally decides to confess her love for Anuj, who had been waiting for this day for almost 26 long years.
In an interaction with India Forums, Gaurav Khanna shared his thoughts on Anupamaa’s love confession. Gaurav said, “I think it was long due because it was hugely demanded by the masses. I feel, I’m also a part of the audience right now as the character Anupamaa has faced umptine number of hardships and struggle and this phase was long due in Anupamaa’s life.”
He continued, “I feel Rajan Sir along with the entire Creative department have beautiful crafted the character of Anuj and have placed him strategically in the story, in a way that Anuj and Anupamaa have received so much love. The way people are loving Anuj- Anupamaa’s chemistry is unheard of in today’s television circuit. I’m totally floored and humbled. Once you see the scene and the approach, you’ll understand what I’m saying. I don’t want to reveal much about the same but I’m sure the fans will love the scene.”

The actor further added, “The Valentine’s promo has been a massive hit. The fans have accepted it with open arms and they’ve loved the chemistry in the promo. I just want to ask my fans to watch out the episode because if you’ve liked the trailer, you’ll love the entire scene, as they say, ‘Picture toh abhi baaki hai… Iss Picture ka toh sabne intezaar kiya tha’…”
Anupamaa, produced by Rajan Shahi under Director’s Kut Productions. The show is based on Star Jalsha’s Bengali series Sreemoyee. There’s also a Marathi version of the show which runs on Star Pravah titled Aai Kuthe Kai Karte. The show also stars actors like Alpana Buch, Arvind Vaidya, Paras Kalnawat, Aashish Mehrotra.
