Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Written Update 20th May 2024: In the previous episode, aAbhira decides to leave the house. Manish calls Abhira and she tells him that she and Armaan are divorced. Abhira tells him not to call again and tells him that she is leaving. Charo cries in her room thinking that she can never love anyone else other than Dev. Ruhi apologizes to Charo for what she did and tries to make her understand that no one would ever accept her and Dev’s relationship. Ruhi tells her to move on and trust the family’s choice. Kaveri hears them.
Armaan apologises to Vidhya. Vidjya requests Armaan to agree to marry Ruhi. Abhira hears it and feels hurt. Kaveri tells everyone that she accepts Armaan and Ruhi’s relationship. Ruhi agrees to marry Armaan. But Arman requests that he needs some time to think. Kaveri decides to give him time till tomorrow. Ruhi tells Armaan to act fast and make his decision. Manish has a bad dream about Ruhi marrying Armaan and him divorcing her. Mansh decides that no matter what happens he will not let them get married.

In today’s episode, Abhira packs her bags to leave and Kaveri asks Armaan his decision. Armaan decides that he is ready to marry Ruhi. Abhira gets heartbroken hearing this. She leaves the Poddar house. Manish comes to the Poddar house and says he doesn’t accept Armaan and Ruhi’s Marriage. Manish says Ruhi is no one to them. Kaveri tells him that Ruhi herself is ready for the marriage. Manish stops Armaan from speaking in the middle and scolds him.
Kaveri guarantees him that she will not insult Ruhi and kick her out of the house. Sanjay gets angry with Manish. Kaveri tells Manih that he is responsible for Ruhi’s tears. Manish says why can’t she see daughter is sad too. Kaveri brings up the way he had kicked Akshara out of the house. Manish declares that he will never let Armaan and Ruhi get marry. Kaveri swears to Rohit that she will not let Ruhi be alone and she will marry her to Armaan and nobody can stop him.
Manish and Kaveri fight with each other. Abhira comes to find a room. Swarna asks Manish why he went to the Poddar house and spoiled everything. Manish gets angry and says she will never be happy with Armaan. Abhira cries in her room.
