Anupama Written Update 18th March 2024: In the previous episode we saw that Yashdeep, Beeji, Vikram, KD, Rahul all plans to throw a surprise birthday party for Anupamaa. Later Anuj talks about Toshu to Anupamaa which Baa sees and decides to taunt Anupamaa. Later Toshu gets anxious when he sees the police but gets relieved when they let him go. He thinks that mummy might have forgiven him. Later Toshu calls Kinjal and she asks him to return but he refuses and ends the call. Later Anuj imagines celebrating Anupam’s birthday with her.
In today’s episode, Anuj reminisces over his past with Anupamaa while holding a gajra in his hands. He checks his watch and sees that it’s about to be 12:00 am, anupamaas birthday. With teary eyes he holds a candle in his hands and thinks that “every year he celebrated her birthday sometimes with her and sometimes without but since college till date he does celebrate her birthday”. He lights the candle on the piece of pastry and while looking at her photo wishes “happy birthday Anu” with teary eyes. And starts to recollect all his memories with her
Later, anupamaa starts her day by lighting diya to shree Krishna and prays that she finds Toshu as soon as possible. She mumbles to herself that she doesn’t want to stay here but she has to stay here because of Toshu she starts to collect her phone and bag while thinking whether he has called Mr. Shah she thinks that he will come to meet Mr. Shah.
Pari calls out to Anupamaa and brings a surprise card to her Anupamaa is surprised and asks her “What is this?”. Pari asks her “Don’t you remember?” Anupamaa denies and Anupamaa’s daughter reminds her that it’s her birthday today. Both pari and Kinjal wish her happy birthday loudly. All three of them hug tightly, and Anupamaa becomes emotional and says thank you to them.

Pari gives the card to Anupamaa and says she has done it, especially for her along with mammas help and Anupama says she has never received such a big card ever before. Anupamaa opens the card and sees a woman with ten hands and asks Pari who she is, pari says that it is her and anupamaa asks her whether she has 10 hands jokingly. Pari says that Anupamaa is her super-dadi with 10 hands because she is perfect in everything that she does. They hug each other, and pari asks her mom when they will cut the cake. Her mom replies after she comes back from school and asks her to go and get ready. Pari says i love you to dadi and leaves
Kinjal wishes her that her years are filled with happiness. Baa and Vanraj enter the room. Baa asks what is so special about today, they both remember, and Baa tauntingly wishes her happy birthday. Anupamaa makes them remember all the times when they had forgotten her birthday and ill-treated her. And Anupamaa tauntingly says that no one has ever remembered her birthday before. Vanrajj wishes her and taunts her by asking whether Anuj has sent any bouquet.
Aadya asks anuj about the pastry in his work room, Anuj ignores her question and Aadhya says she knows whose birthday it is today and also that he will not go to Spice and chutney to wish her. She request Anuj to forget about the past and that their present and future is Shruti and he has only Anuj in his life and so not do anything that can hurt her. Aadya gets emotional and hugs her dad. Anuj reassures her and leaves for the office. While shruti hears their conversation.
Anuj taunts that anupamaa boss and Biji has not sent any gifts and Baa replies that even if they send it will be just for show and nothing else. Anupamaa requests Baa not to say anything about Biji and says that she is like a mother to her. And Anuj asks her what does her boss mean to her? Anupamaa replies with a savage answer and tells him to call his son Toshu home as soon as possible so that she can take him to the police station
Dimpy gets excited and thanks Lord Krishna, while Kavya questions “you can’t be so happy for only going to the US. What is the other matter?” Dimpy denies, and Kavya persuades her. Dimply told kavya that Titu gave her a ring before going abroad and she is excited to stay abroad with Titu and her mom. Kavya also gets excited for her. Kavya tells her to take a break tomorrow and leaves to get something.
Anupamaa receives grand B’day party at Cafe
Anupamaa enters the restaurant and gets a surprise. Everyone sings for her and anupamaa gets emotional and thanks everyone. She remembers her younger son and gets teary remembering him. Everyone asks Anupama to open her birthday gifts.
When Dimpy and Kavya enter the kitchen, they see Babu ji making custard and gets emotional over her birthday and says he is making the custard to remember her as it is her favorite. And wishes her nothing but happiness. Kavya and Dimpy also miss Anupamaa. They dedicated the custard to her. Anupamaa opens her gifts and is surprised to see “Anupamaa chai masala” tea spice powder. And thanks, everyone. Beeji says that this is God’s gift to her. They hug and take photos
Babu ji feels sad while telling Kavya and Dimpy that nobody remembered Anupamaa’s birthday including him while Kavya reassures him that he was very supportive of Anupamaa, but Babu Ji still blames him for not being a good father-in-law. But Kavya and Dimpy tell him that he has done his best for Anupamaa and them. Babu ji promises to fight for them all. They hug each other.
Anupamaa gets excited to know that the entire world will be able to taste her chai masala. And the whole world will know her name. Beeji tells them that they will not open the restaurant today. Instead, they will party. They say it is their rule to keep the restaurant closed and party on their staff’s birthday. Vikram reassures her and she gets convinced and decides to be happy today.
