On Friday morning, The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has conducted raid in Rhea Chakraborty‘s residences and her associate Samuel Miranda. Teams of officers dressed in plain clothes arrived at the two venues and began search as provided under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, NCB said.
After a long hours of raid at Samuel Miranda‘s house, the Narcotics Control Bureau picked up Miranda and detained him under provisions of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
ANI reported, “Maharashtra: Samuel Miranda being brought out of his residence in Mumbai, by Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), in connection with #SushantSinghRajput death case. A search was conducted by NCB at his residence today.”
The reports further reads, “Samuel Miranda detained by Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), under provisions of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.”

An officer associated with the raids added, “It’s just a procedural matter. That is what we are following. It is being done at Rhea‘s and Samuel Miranda‘s house.”
As per CNN News18, Samuel and Rhea‘ brother Showik Chakraborty‘s names have come in interrogation of arrested people and the raids will aim to recover anything related to Sushant Singh Rajput death case.
