The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has been investigating money laundering angle in Sushant Singh Rajput‘s death case after the bank transactions of the late actor showed some suspicious activities. Till now, the ED has summoned Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty, her father Indrajit Chakraborty, manager Shruti Modi, Siddharth Pithani and Sushant‘s sister Mitu Singh among others.
Recently, The ED has also seized four phones, two iPads and a laptop from the Chakraborty family to send it to the forensics for further examination. Now, as per latest reports in Times Now, the Mumbai Police is failing to cooperate with the ED officials.
According to Times Now reports, the Mumbai Police hasn’t handed over Sushant Singh Rajput‘s phone to Enforcement Directorate (ED), despite them sending letters to the police officials not once, but four times. Reportedly, the Mumbai Police isn’t cooperating because the ED investigation has started after the FIR filed in Bihar. It is being reported that is coming across as a huge obstacle for the ED to continue with their investigation.
Times Now tweeted, “Mumbai Police has not yet handed over Sushant Singh‘s phone to ED despite that latter writing 4 letters to the former seeking the same.”
