Television actor Shivin Narang expressed his views on the decision of Indian Government banning TikTok and other 58 Chinese applications. This decision is take by Government of India amid simmering tension with China in Ladakh. Shivin Narang supports the decision of government says he is perfectly fine with the ban.
On June 29, The Government of India has banned 59 Chinese apps including TikTok, Club factory and WeChat. This strong decision taken by the government amid simmering tension at border with China in Ladakh. Many Bollywood and Television celebrities supported the decision of Indian government for the ban.
Now, Popular TV actor Shivin Narang expressed his views on the same. As per reports in India Forums, Shivin said, “Yes there were a few apps I used. I had joined TikTok very recently for fun and to connect with my fans. Personally, I don’t have any problem if these apps are shut, and I am sure the decision is in our best interest whether it is our privacy or country’s security.”
Shivin added, “But yes, I am really concerned about the people whose career, life and identity was dependent on TikTok, especially in this COVID situation, it can disturb them and affect mental health.”
