Udaariyaan is quite possibly the most cherished and loved show on TV, and the story keeps the crowd stick to it. The show is produced by Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta under their banner of Dreamiyata Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. also, Devirosh Films and airs in Colors. The show stars Ankit Gupta, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, and Isha Malviya. The viewers love to watch the romantic tale of Fateh and Tejo.
Tejo is an exceptionally fabulous person who adores her family and can do anything for them. But before the producers finalized Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, it was offered to a couple of actors who declined the role? Here is the rundown of actors who denied the role of Tejo in Udaariyaan:
1. Ishita Dutta
Ishita is a popular TV actor most popular for her role in Bepanah Pyaar, the actor was offered the part of Tejo, however, the reason behind why she declined this role is as yet unclear.
2. Ishita Ganguly
Ishita who is known for her character in Shastri Sisters, was offered the role of Tejo, the actress even auditioned for the role but the creators thought that she does not fit the role, hence, things didn’t workout between her and makers.
3. Nia Sharma
Popular ITV actress Nia Sharma has done many popular TV shows like Ek Hazaaro Mein Meri Behna Hai, Naagin 4, Jamai Raja among others. Reportedly, she was also offered the part of Tejo, but she charged high fee and later things didn’t worked out.
4. Tejasswi Prakash
Tejasswi has done many popular TV shows like Swaragini, Khatron Ke Khiladi 10, Pehredaar Piya Ki, Silsila-Badalte Rishton ka. She was also offered the role of Tejo, however, she did not accept the role as she would not like to be the second lead.
5. Jennifer Winget
Indian TV super star Jennifer Winget was also offered the role of Tejo, however, she declined it saying that she wasn’t impressed with the role.
And finally, the role was given to Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and fans feel she is the best choice for the role, and nobody could do equity to Tejo the manner in which she did.
