Colors TV show Udaariyaan is riding high on success. The show is grabbing lot of attention with it’s interesting twists and turns. It is getting good TRP numbers and has maintained third spot in top 5 TV show by BARC. The show stars Ankit Gupta, Priyanka Choudhary and Isha Malviya in lead. And now, actor Karan V Grover is entering the show as Angan Maan. Karan will be Tejo’s love interest in the show.
In a recent interaction with India Forums, Ankit Gupta was asked about if he went through a tinge of insecurity as another hero has been roped in for the show. Talking about it, Ankit said, “Not at all. In fact, I’m excited to have an actor like Karan to be a art of the show. It will only be helpful for the growth of the show as a whole. As far as insecurity and less screen-space is concerned, I always believe that whatever is meant for you will surely happen. I’m rather elated as a new protagonist will join as it will give me a breather to look after myself a bit and engage in activities that I’m not able to due to hectic shooting schedule.”
Speaking about Karan V Grover and his line of work, Ankit said, “I’ve watched Karan’s previous show Saarthi on Star Plus. I used to watch that show along with my mother (smiles). I’ve also seen his work in SIT videos. It’s nice to work with him and I’m looking forward to learning new things. I always get excited to work with different people as it only enhances your knowledge and lets you learn several things from other people’s craft and personality. It’s nice to have him on board.”
Udaariyaan is produced by ITV couple Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta under their production banner Dreamiyata Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. & Devirosh Films. It also stars actors like Lokesh Batta, Chetna Singh, Virsa Singh Riar, Abhishek Kumar, Ram Aujla, Rashmeet Kaur Sethi, Abhiraaj Chawla among others.
