The shoot of Star Plus popular shows Imlie, Shaurya aur Anokhi Ki Kahani and Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali has come to a halt. Currently, COVID-19 cases are increasing rapidly in the country. Recently, Maharashtra govt had announced lockdown due to increases in cases as a result of which shooting were stopped in the state. After which, the makers shows shifted their base to another location for shootings, like Goa, Hyderabad.
Now, the State of Telangana has also gone into lockdown and that led the shows shooting in trouble. As reported by India Forums, The teams of Imlie and Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali have already been shooting in Hyderabad soon after shoot in Maharashtra came to a halt. Meanwhile, the shoot for Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani had recently moved to Hyderabad after Goa went into lockdown.
With the lockdown, the makers are in a dilemma once again as they are wondering if they should move back to Mumbai or else hunt for another location. As for now, the teams are waiting to see how do things unravel and when can shootings resume. As per reports in the Times of India, the team of Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani is currently clueless as to how can they move forward and they are in a fix as to how will they manage forward given that they just moved to a new city after Goa went into lockdown.
On the other hand, the producer of Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali, Sandiip Sikcand told the daily that they moved to Hyderabad because he was also shooting for a Telugu show there. However, the team is now waiting to receive directions regarding the guidelines and once things are clear, they will either search for a new location or continue shooting from Hyderabad while ensuring the protocols are followed. He also mentioned that they have a bank of episodes already.
About show Imlie, the team is currently shooting in Ramoji City, and though it is in the outskirts, whether or not they will be able to continue is not known yet.
