Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput‘s suicide case has taken a new turn after the late actor’s father KK Singh has lodged an FIR against actor’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty. Sushant‘s father accuses Rhea for extorting money and abetting actor to suicide.
Sushant Singh Rajput‘s father KK Singh has lodged an FIR in Patna’s Rajendra Nagar that has around 16 charges levelled on Rhea Chakraborty. Now, Sushant‘s family lawyer Vikas Singh has made serious charges. In a recent interview with CNN News 18, he said that the Sushant‘s family was not satisfied the way Mumbai Police is investigating actor’s suicide case. Therefore, they registered an FIR in Patna, Bihar.
Talking to CNN News 18, Vikas Singh quoted saying, “Sushant‘s family has no faith in the Mumbai Police because of the way they have been investigating in this matter. I’m not saying the entire police force to be blamed. The family is being pressured to name 5-6 production houses as responsible for Sushant‘s death. Why should the family name any production house for his death? This is something that has actually disturbed the family a lot. They felt that the only way to give it a proper closure would be to take this matter to its logical end. That is why we got the matter registered in Patna.”
However, they want only Rhea to be interrogated. Now, a team of cops led by Patna SSP Vinay Tiwari has reached Mumbai. As per reports, Rhea, her brother Showik, parents, and SSR‘s manager Shruti Modi have been booked under various sections of IPC – 306 (abetment to suicide). 342 (wrongful confinement), 380 (theft), 406 (criminal breach of trust), 420 (cheating). 506 (criminal intimidation), 120 (criminal conspiracy) – and also charged them under the Mental Health Care Act.
