Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput sudden demise has raises several questions like what were the reason that the actor took such a drastic step. Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on 14 June 2020. As per reports, Sushant has committed suicide due to depression.
The provisional postmortem report revealed that the cause of his death was asphyxia due to hanging. Police haven’t recovered any suicide note from the place. However, Mumbai Police is investigating the suicide case closely.
Police has been interrogating late actor’s close friends and family members. Police has recorded the statements of 25 people so far, including his last film Dil Bechara‘s director Mukesh Chhabra, rumoured GF Rhea Chakraborty, his father and 3 sisters among many others. Recently, Police have also received the late actor’s signed Yash Raj Film contract copy for further investigation. Now, as per recent reports, Police has also recorded the statements of former top Yash Raj Film‘s executives.
According to the reports in Mumbai Mirror, Police has questioned a Bollywood producer and Yash Raj Film‘s two former top executive – Ashish Patil and Ashish Singh in connection with Sushant‘s suicide case. The executives were questioned over the contract that Sushant has signed in the past.
The reports in Mumbai Mirror also states that SSR had signed a contract in 2012 when Ashish Patil and Ashish Singh were at the helm of affairs at the production house. Sources at the station revealed to the portal that the contract copy police has received was the one he signed in 2012. But the one of his exit of the contract in 2015 is still not made available to police.
The source also revealed to Mumbai Mirror. “The questioning largely revolved around the terms of references in the agreement to join and exit the firm by the actor.”
The identity of the other producer that has called in to record the statement is not yet revealed.
