It’s been four months to Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput‘s tragic demise and the investigation is still going on in the mysterious death case. Rhea Chakraborty, who was arrested by NCB in drug case linked to SSR case, has been granted bail by Bombay High Court on October 7. However, Rhea Chakraborty‘s brother Showik Chakraborty‘s bail plea was rejected by Bombay HC on the same day.
Now a month after, Showik Chakraborty has filed a fresh bail plea in the Special Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Court. Showik‘s name in the drug case came in light when his WhatsApp chats with drug dealers surfaced online.

Showik‘s legal counsel has cited that there is no reason to keep the 24-year-old behind bars as the Apex Court’s ruling last month stated that the statements held by the NCB officers cannot be considered as ‘confessions’.
