Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar launched a campaign ‘Ab Hamari Baari Hai‘ ahead the release of the film ‘Laxmii‘ to extend support to the third gender. The actor has urged everyone to use the Instagram filter of Red Bindi and extend support to the Third Gender and call for equality.
The film Laxmii tells the story about a man who has been possessed by the spirit of a transgender woman who wants to seek revenge from those who did wrong to her. Yesterday, Akshay launched the campaign by sharing a picture of himself donning a red bindi on his forehead.
Now, extending the support to the Third Gender, popular TV actor and Bigg Boss 13 winner Sidharth Shukla joined Akshay‘s campaign ‘Ab Hamari Baari Hai‘. Sidharth took his Twitter handle and shared a monochrome picture of himself donning a Red Bindi on his forehead. Sharing the post, Sid wrote, “Really admire the initiative that Akki sir has started. We got to take a step beyond and show love, acceptance and support towards the third gender. Let’s wear the Laal Bindi and come together kyunki #AbHamariBaariHai unka saath dene ki jinhone aaj tak hamari khushi mein saath diya.”

On work front, Sidharth is currently shooting for his upcoming project in Chandigarh with Shehnaaz Gill. This is the second project Sidharth and Shehnaaz doing together, earlier the duo was seen in music video Bhula Dunga sung by popular singer Darshan Raval.
