Popular ITV actor Sidharth Shukla is making his return to acting after after 3 years with Ekta Kapoor‘s much awaited web series Broken But Beautiful 3. This also marks Sidharth‘s debut on OTT platform. The handsome hunk will be seen opposite Sonia Rathee, who’s making her acting debut with ALTBalaji’s web series. The Bigg Boss 13 winner will be seen essaying the role of a theatre director ‘Agastya Rao‘ in the web show while Sonia will be seen as ‘Rumi Desai‘
Now, speaking about his return to acting, Sidharth says, “Honestly, there was a bit of nervousness on the first day. I was questioning myself if I’ll be able to pull it off as I have been myself in the last few years. I was in fact praying that I haven’t forgotten acting (he laughs) but I think once the camera turns on, everything falls into place naturally.”
Sidharth is playing the role of writer-director in the series. His character of Agastya is that of an idealist, opinionated, and rebellious person who believes he is a boon to the theatre world. Agastya is seen as a taskmaster and not the one to compromise on anything when it comes to his work.
Apart from Sidharth & Sonia, the web series also stars Ehan Bhatt, Manvir Singh, Jahnavi Dhanrajgir, Bishakha Thapa, Taniya Kalrra, Saloni Khanna Patel among others. BBB3 will stream on 29th May, 2021 on AltBalaji.
