Actress-singer Shehnaaz Gill upcoming Punjabi film ‘Honsla Rakh‘ with Diljit Dosanjh is one of the most anticipated projects of the year. Reportedly, Shehnaaz is not in a good state and is barely speaking to anyone after Sidharth Shukla‘s untimely demise. The actor passed away on September 2 due to Heart attack, and Shehnaaz is finding it difficult the bear the loss.
Amid all this, Shehnaaz‘s upcoming film Honsla Rakh is heading towards it’s release which is in October. The makers of her film recently shared an update and revealed that they had earlier planned to shoot a promotional song on September 15. However, they had to postpone it as Shehnaaz was in no position to attend the shoot.
In an interaction with the Times of India, Honsla Rakh‘s producer Diljit Thind said, “We are waiting for her to recover and heal from the grave loss. We had originally planned to shoot the song on September 15 in London, but that couldn’t happen because of obvious reasons. We will finalise a new date soon and would want Shehnaaz to be a part of it, too, as she is an integral part of the film. I am in touch with her manager and hoping that she will contact us in a few days.”
The film ‘Honsla Rakh‘ also stars Punjabi actress Sonam Bajwa & Shinda Grewal. Along with Diljit Dosanjh, the film is produced by Daljit Thind and Pawan Gill. It is directed by Amarjit Singh Saron and written by Rakesh Dhawan. The director of photography (DOP) is Baljit Singh Deo. The film is shot in Vancouver, Canada. It is scheduled for Dussehra release on October 15, 2021.
Shehnaaz is going through a difficult phase of her life and we pray to god to give her and Sidharth’s family strength to bear this loss. Shehnaaz was last seen with Sidharth Shukla on Colors TV show Dance Deewane 3 and Voot’s Bigg Boss OTT as guests.
