Veteran actor Sooraj Thapar, who is currently seen in Star Plus show Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani actor, has been Hospitalized after he tested positive for COVID-19. The actor has returned from Goa with the team of Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani on Friday morning. When the actor landed in Mumbai he started feeling feverish. And, after reaching home, he developed a high fever and has been admitted to hospital.
As per reports in Times of India, a friend close to Sooraj‘s family said, “When his fever shot up, his family felt it was best to admit him. Getting a bed wasn’t easy, but after a bit of running around, they finally found a bed in a hospital in Goregaon.”
The friend added, “His condition is stable right now. Contrary to reports, he is not in ICU. The entire hospital is small and has few beds. Hopefully, he will get well soon.”
Sooraj has been a part of many popular TV shows and films. He has done shows like Razia Sultan, Akbar Ka Bal Birbal, Sasural Genda Phool, Hum Paanch Phir Se, Ek Nayi Pehchaan among others. He is currently plays the role of Tej Sabarwal in star Plus show Shaurya aur Anokhi ki Kahani. SAAKK stars Karanvir Sharma and Debattama Saha in lead. The show’s shoot was recently shifted to Goa after shootings were stopped in Maharashtra due to rise in COVID-19 cases. However, few days back, Goa government too halted all shoots taking place there due to COVID. Production houses have all packed their bags and are returning to Mumbai.
