After Sushant Singh Rajput‘s sudden demise, filmmaker Shekhar Kapur slammed nepotism in Bollywood in Instagram live chat with Manoj Bajpayee. Bollywood Popular actor Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on Sunday June 14 at his apartment in Bandra, Mumbai. According to the reports, Sushant‘s body found hanging in his room.
The actor had committed suicide at his Mumbai residence, as per police reports. Police officials haven’t recovered any suicide note from the place. However, the entire matter is still being investigated. The news of Sushant Singh Rajput‘s demise has left the entire nation numb.
Several TV, Bollywood celebrities, politicians, sports-persons mourned the demise of young actor on their social media handle. After the news of his demise, an old comment of Sushant, asking fans to watch his films as he has no godfather in the industry started talks about nepotism in Bollywood.
Filmmaker Shekhar Kapur, who was close to Sushant tweeted that he knew the pain he was going through and the story of the people who let him down so bad. He wrote, “I knew the pain you were going through. I knew the story of the people that let you down so bad that you would weep on my shoulder, I wish Iwas around the last 6 months. I wish you had reached out to me. What happened to you was their Karma. Not yours. #SushantSinghRajput.”
