Bigg Boss 14 contestant Rahul Vaidya has grabbed lot of attention with his stint in the reality show. The singer was one of the strongest contestant and emerged out as the first runner-up of this season. Rahul enjoys massive fan following on social media after his stint in the show.
In the beginning of the 14th season, many housemates and the viewers thought that Rahul Vaidya wouldn’t be able to go much far in the game. Initially, former Bigg Boss winners Sidharth Shukla, Gauahar Khan & BB11 runner-up Hina Khan has entered the house as ‘Toofani Seniors’ for two weeks. The trio was there to guide and take decisions for the contestants related to game.
At one-point of time, Seniors Gauahar Khan and Hina Khan had almost eliminated Rahul Vaidya during the second week of the game. But due to Sidharth Shukla‘s decision and his belief on Rahul‘s game, he was saved from elimination.
Now, in an recent interview, Rahul has thanked Sidharth Shukla for showing faith in him the time when nobody trusted him. The singer is very grateful to Sidharth‘s decision as if he did not have shown faith in him, then he would have been evicted from the show in second week. Sidharth‘s decision has given him a completely new life and he emerged out as the first runner-up. He also said that he hasn’t yet met Sidharth after Bigg Boss but hopes to meet him soon and thank him personally.
In the video shared by fan, Rahul can be heard saying, “Muje is baat ki bohut khushi hai ki Sidharth ne mujh pe tab bharosa kiya tha jab kisi aur ne nahi kiya tha and that really means a lot. Mein Sidharth se abhi mila nahi hun jab se show khatam huya hai. But jab bhi kabhi hum milenge I had to tell this to him, agar uss time unhone mera saath nahi diya hota toh sayad ussi din eliminate hojata. But I think unhone kuch mere me dekha and unki paar ki nazar sahi nikali. Kahi na kahi jo unhone muje us waqt rok liya and mein end tak chala gaya. I just want to thank him for all the support and all the trust that he put inside me.”
