Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali actress Shivangi Khedkar Opens up on her First meeting with co-star Sai Ketan Rao

The show stars Shivangi Khedkar and Sai Ketan Rao in lead. The duo is winning viewers hearts as Pallavi and Raghav. Fans are loving their on screen chemistry and fondly calls them #RaghVi.

Now, the shows’ lead actress Shivangi Khedkar has opened up about her first meeting Sai Ketan Rao. Speaking about her first encounter with Sai Ketan, she said, “This was supposed to be my first daily soap and I wanted to make sure that I have a good rapport with all the actors. Considering the long working hours required for a TV show, I was certain that with a good vibe on the set with co-stars becoming friends, the shoots would be less hectic. Keeping the thought in mind, I said an enthusiastic ‘Hello’ to Sai on our first meeting and to my surprise he gave a cold reply saying a ‘Hi’ and started talking to someone else. I felt weird and thought that he was rude to me but I’m a very positive person so I started to reason with his behavior. Initially, I thought that he is being in his character so it will only be helpful for the show that we have such a focused actor. Secondly, I thought to myself that maybe like me, Sai is also an introvert so we will be on the same page and can eventually become good friends.”

The actress further added, “However, after shooting for so long, now I can say that we both have gelled along well and have become friends. We share a lot of things with each other. Telugu industry is one of the common links between us, so we keep discussing things in Hyderabad and all. We both are foodies too so food becomes another bonding factor for us. So, yes, it’s fun working with him.”

Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali is produced by SOL Productions and Sandiip Films. The show is based on Star Maa’s Telugu series Gorintaku. It also stars Ashok Phal Dessai, Sameer Deshpande, Asmita Ajgaonkar, Snehal Reddy, Priyanka Dhavale, Rutuja Sawant, Karan Manocha among others.
