Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon has come out in support of Hamari Bahu Silk‘s cast and crew over non-payment of dues. Many artists and technical staff working on TV show Hamari Bahu Silk have alleged non-payment of dues that are long pending. Several videos of unpaid staff members from TV show Hamari Bahu Silk are being shared on social media.
Actor Zaan Khan, who has played the lead role in the show had spoken up on non-payment of dues by the producers of the show. Now, Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon also come out in support of the cast & crew of the show in these crisis. Taking to her Instagram handle, Kriti shared a video of a crew member (dress dada,) who talks about nonpayment of dues.
Sharing the video, Kriti requested producers to pay the dues of cast & crew in these coronavirus crisis. She wrote, “This is terrible!! This is just one incident that i know of because a friend of mine has worked in this daily soap. Humari Bahu Silk. But my heart breaks to see so many people suffering because they haven’t received their payments! This is the time when the daily wage earners need their hard-earned money the most!! I request the concerned producers to pls pay everyone their dues!! They have worked very hard for this, and its rightfully theirs! @cintaaofficial pls pls help them. Its a tough time we all are going through.. and i urge all employers in every field to please clear the pending payments of their employees!.”
