GHKKPM written update 1st July 2023: The latest episode begins with Bhavani sharing the photo of the prospective groom with everyone. Harini expresses her approval, saying he is okay. Savi arrives and curiously asks Bhavani whose photo she is secretly showing. Bhavani denies any sneakiness and shows Savi the groom’s photo, mentioning that everyone liked him and she believes Savi will like him too. Savi remarks that he seems good but questions if he is younger than Bhavani. Bhavani clarifies that the photo is for Savi and the groom’s family will be coming to meet her the next day. Savi pleads with Bhavani to wait until she becomes an IAS officer, but Bhavani remains firm, asserting that her decision is final. Ashwini signals to Savi not to argue.
Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin Previous story: Bhavani Kaku angrily questions Savi for going to college when she asked her to not leave house. She gets angry at Savi as she was missing from home when a matchmaker came to see her for marriage. But, Savi tells her that it was important for her to go college. She also tells Kaku that she want to become an IAS officer as it is her dream while Bhavani slaps her for becoming like her mother. Reeva reminisces about her moment with Ishaan before receiving a video call from her father. He inquires about her college life, and Reeva responds positively, mentioning that she has already taken admission. Reeva’s mother questions her haste, suggesting that she might receive a call from London University. Reeva dismisses the possibility, stating that she hasn’t heard from them in two years, so why would it happen now? Reeva agrees, and her father mentions informing Rao about his daughter’s plans to study at their college. He also asks Reeva about her accommodation arrangements.
Avni shows Dhruva something exciting, making him happy. She shares an idea and connects her phone to the TV. They watch Shika’s performance being announced on the television. Shika dances joyfully, but her happiness quickly turns into fear upon seeing the video. Dhruva’s mother advises him not to tease Shika, while Shika pleads for them to stop the video. However, they continue playing it and remove the batteries from the remote. Surekha enters the room and questions the commotion.
Ashwini tries to convince Savi to stay at home the next day, but Savi asks her to support her instead. Ashwini assures her that she is always on her team and suggests that Savi meet the boy and reject him if she doesn’t like him. Reluctantly, Savi agrees.
Surekha confronts Shika about the video, and Shika explains that it’s an old video. Surekha scolds her while Dhruva and Avni provoke the situation further. Surekha’s husband intervenes and asks Shika for an explanation. Shika insists it’s an old video and reveals that she responded to a comment. Avni reads the comments aloud, leading Surekha to accuse Shika of compromising their family’s respect for a mere 5,000 rupees and demands she delete the video. Avni offers to delete it, but Shika firmly refuses.

Harini asks Savi to share her thoughts, and Savi claims nothing is on her mind. Harini inquires if she is ready to stay home the following day, to which Savi responds that she will return soon. Confused, Harini asks what she means, and Savi reveals that she needs a small favor. She explains that she has a debate competition in Nagpur and plans to return before the groom’s family arrives. Harini expresses concern, deeming it risky. Savi shares that it is her life ambition and earnestly requests Harini’s assistance. After careful consideration, Harini agrees to help her.
