Bigg Boss season 5 runner-up Mahek Chahal to be part of Ekta Kapoor‘s supernatural saga Naagin 5. From past few days, Color’ TV show Naagin 4 continuously making headlines. As per latest reports the show is going off-air. Ekta Kapoor confirmed the about the same with a video message on her social media handle. She also apologized to fans and the cast of the show.
As per reports, Bigg Boss 13 fame Rashami Desai is no more part of the show, who was playing the role of Shalaka in the show. Ekta Kapoor also announced that immediately after Naagin 4 ends, the fifth season will begin with a new cast. And now as per latest reports Bigg Boss 5 runner up Mahek Chahal has been approached for the upcoming season of Naagin.
According to the reports in Pinkvilla, Mahek Chahal who has worked with Ekta Kapoor in TV show Kavach has been approached for Naagin 5. The reports also suggests that the channel has cut the cost by 30% for everyone and hence the decision to bring a relatively new face. However, Mahek has denied these news to the portal, but sources are quite sure that the actress is being approached by the production house.
