On Yesterday’s weekend ka vaar of Bigg Boss 16, Sumbul Touqeer got targeted for her friendship with Shalin Bhanot and not letting him talk to Tina Datta. Salman Khan asked housemates if Sumbul is obsessed with Shalin Bhanot. To which, Tina, Nimrit and others agreed while Sajid said Sumbul has a fondness towards Shalin like a crush. However, Sumbul denied having any feelings for Shalin and said she considers him a good friend while Shalin too denied. Now, former Bigg Boss contestant and actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee has come out in support of Sumbul Touqeer and lashed out at Tina Datta for character assassinating a 19 year old girl on national television.
Devo tweeted, “Character assasination of a 19 year old on national television cud be a part of entertainment for many.But it is disguisting to watch it. A woman who always talks about her image & BRAND is all out to degrade her female contestant just bcz she thinks SHA loves her. @BiggBoss.”
Devoleena also said that Sumbul Touqeer should leave the Bigg Boss house before things get worse for her. The actress tweeted, “#SumbulTouqueerKhan ‘s probably the biggest mistake she had done getting herself locked inside the house at this stage of her life. To all her fans, let her go home. This is for her betterment. Trust me. This is just getting worse & worse. No matter how mad i get at her but.”
In another one she wrote, “Just stop crushing someone’s self esteem like this @BiggBoss. Shalin baccha nahi hai jo Tina Sumbul se permission lekar baat karein. Shalin ko baat karna hota toh woh khud bhi uthkar jaa sakta hai baat karne. Why to blame #SumbulTouqueerKhan and for what ? #bb16.”
