Bigg Boss 14 winner Rubina Dilaik was one of the most popular contestant of Salman Khan‘s controversial reality show. The actress has grabbed lot of attention with her stint in the reality show. Currently, the Shakti actress is making lot of headlines, from her upcoming projects to her personal life.
Rubina was recently seen in a music video ‘Marjaneya‘ sung by popular singer Neha Kakkar alongside with her husband Abhinav Shukla. The music video is receiving a great response from viewers, and trending at No 1 position on YouTube since its release. Not only this, the actress has also shot for a music video with BB13‘s Paras Chhabra.
Now, in an interaction with Eastern Eye, Rubina has spoke about her future plans and the roles she is looking forward to do. She also opened up about doing films or if interested in doing films.
Speaking about her career plans, the actress quoted saying, “I have not had the chance to plan forward since Bigg Boss 14 ended. I have not been able to look into the kitty of my work projects that are happening because I have been really pouring my heart and time into personally thanking those who supported me. That has included interacting with media, giving out interviews and expressing my gratitude. So, maybe I will be able to answer this question about projects in a few weeks once I am done with expressing my gratitude to each one of you.”
When she was asked what kind of characters she wishes to play in the future, the actress said that she wishes to play a real life hero in a biopic. She quoted saying, “I want to play characters who have been real-life heroes. So, I have this desire to play a real-life hero in a biopic. You know an actor has this very powerful medium of expressing someone’s life through emotion and talent with their acting skills.”
She further mentioned she would love to get the opportunity to narrate someone else’s story and talk about their struggles as well as there success in an inspiring character. Rubina added that it is one of her desires to do it in a film or on television and give her to two cents and salute the person’s life.
The actress also spoke about doing movies, when asked if she has acting in movies on her mind, she said, “I’ve always been an artist who has not distinguished or maybe labelled the mode of exhibiting my art. In that respect, I do not see television as a lesser medium than films or vice versa. So, for me the medium does not matter. All that matters is a good project and breathing life into a character that I play.”
