On October 28, MNS leader Amey Khopkar had threatened the Colors channel that if Jaan Kumar Sanu doesn’t apologise on the show within 24 hours for his comment about Marathi language, they will stop the shooting of Bigg Boss 14. He even stated that he will see how Jaan Kumar Sanu gets work in Mumbai after his remarks.
After the MNS leader’s warning, Colors channel has issued an apology letter over Jaan‘s ‘Marathi’ statement. In addition, they have also assured that the bit has been removed from the episode.
Now, in the latest episode of Bigg Boss 14, singer Jaan Kumar Sanu was scolded by Bigg Boss for his comment related to Maharashtra’s language. During the recent episode, Bigg Boss called Jaan in the confession room and calls out him for his remark. Bigg Boss told Jaan that in the show everyone is equal and nobody is allowed to comments or say anything against any community or religion. Bigg Boss further added that his comments have hurt the sentiments of Marathi community.
Jaan then apologized to the Marathi community and said that if unknowingly he has hurt Marathi community sentiments then he is extremely sorry about it. He also apologized to Bigg Boss and said that he will make sure than nothing of this sort is repeated in future.
