Star Plus show Anupamaa is number one show on television right now and grabbing lot of attention with it’s twists and turns. The show stars Rupali Ganguly, Gaurav Khanna and Sudhanshu Pandey in pivotal roles. Gaurav and Rupali aka Anuj and Anupama has been winning everyone’s hearts with their onscreen Chemistry in the show.
In a recent interaction with ETimes, Gaurav Khanna Aka Anuj revealed how his wife Akanksha Chamola is an admirer of Rupali Ganguly aka Anupama in the show. He shares how in real life his wife and Rupali are quite similar to each other.
Speaking about the same, the actor quoted saying, “My wife watches the show regularly and is a happy admirer of Rupali, my co-actor’s work in the show. She also makes videos with Rupali and the two are chatting, hugging each other. They get along very well and sometimes I feel that they are similar, because on the sets, I see Rupali playing with pets (dogs) and my wife Akanksha also loves playing with pets. Their love for pets is on a different level. That’s one big similarity between them.”

The current track of the show focusses on Anuj’s wedding with Anupama. Talking about the same, Gaurav said, “My character Anuj may seem like he is too good to be true, but in real life too, there are good people. And women do find good guys and get married. I am glad that people are loving my role in the show.”
Anupamaa, produced by Rajan Shahi under Director’s Kut Productions. The show is based on Star Jalsha’s Bengali series Sreemoyee. There’s also a Marathi version of the show which runs on Star Pravah titled Aai Kuthe Kai Karte.
The show also stars actors like Aneri Vajani, Madalsa Sharma, Alpana Buch, Arvind Vaidya, Paras Kalnawat, Aashish Mehrotra. Muskan Bamne, Shekhar Shukla, Nidhi Shah, Anagha Bhosale and Tassnim Sheikh.
