The current track of the producer Rajan Shahi’s show Anupamaa revolves around Rakhi informing Baa and Anupama about Kinjal’s baby shower. In the latest episode we saw Anuj-Anupama (Gaurav Khanna–Rupali Ganguly) visiting Shah house to drop Kinjal-Toshu home. Anupama sees Rakhi Dave insulting Bapuji and she calls out at her for disrespecting Hasmukh. Anu scolds Rakhi for entering the house with her dirty heels while Bapuji was mopping the floor. Anu takes mop from Bapuji and she herself cleans the floor.
Rakhi taunts Anu that even after becoming so rich she has to carry a mop like this. Anupama gives Rakhi befitting reply and asks her to learn to respect hard work. Hearing about respect, Rakhi taunts how little respect Anupama’s in-laws gave to the Shah family at their housewarming party.
Further, Rakhi announces that Kinjal’s baby shower that too tomorrow. Anupama tells Rakhi that she could have at least consulted Leela as they also need to do the preparations. Leela then says that the function will happen only at their house and not Rakhi’s place but Rakhi demands that all of them come to her house.
Kinjal asks her mother to not put so much efforts as she won’t be coming to the baby shower. She demands that if the function will held at her in-laws’ place then only she come, Rakhi agrees but not ready to change the date. Leela gets into argument with Rakhi over the date as Vanraj will not be able to return on time for baby shower.

Rakhi later asks Baa if the Kapadias are coming at the baby shower but Leela says that only Anupama, GK and Anuj are invited from their family and no one else. Anu confronts Baa about why she’s not inviting her in-laws to the baby shower. Baa replies that her family does not deserve to be called after whatever they did with their family. However, Anu convinces Baa to invite her in-laws.
In the upcoming episode we will see Leela informing Vanraj about Kinjal’s sudden baby shower function. Vanraj and Kavya shocked and wonders how can their family organize such a big function without their presence. Baa wants Vanraj to present at the function. She tells him that the function will held only when he’s present and not in his absence.
Will Baa put the baby shower on halt till Vanraj returns?
Anupamaa, produced by Rajan Shahi under Director’s Kut Productions. The show is based on Star Jalsha’s Bengali series Sreemoyee. There’s also a Marathi version of the show which runs on Star Pravah titled Aai Kuthe Kai Karte. The show also stars actors like Sudhanshu Pandey, Aneri Vajani, Madalsa Sharma, Alpana Buch, Arvind Vaidya, Paras Kalnawat, Aashish Mehrotra.
