Actor Adhik Mehta, who recently entered Star Plus’ popular show Anupamaa, spoke about sharing the screen space with Rupali Ganguly. The handsome hunk recalls being a huge fan of iconic sitcom ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’ that starred Rupali. In a recent interaction with a media portal, Adhik shares he is blessed to to work with the actress who earlier essayed the evergreen Monisha.

The actor said, “I’m thrilled to share screen space with my favourite Rupali Ganguly. My mom and I used to watch ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’ and were huge fans of the show. It was a fun ride and classic show. I’m blessed to have this amazing opportunity to work along with the actress who earlier essayed the evergreen Monisha. I was super happy when I received the update about being finalised for Anupamaa.”
Adhik was earlier seen in shows like ‘Choti Sarrdaarni’ and ‘Bepanah Pyaar’ continues to share his experience of meeting Rupali Ganguly for the first time. He added, “I was very happy to meet Rupali ma’am. But seriously, I was waiting for this for a long time and finally I am shooting with her. I was very excited and not nervous at all.”

The upcoming episode of Anupamaa will witness huge drama as Vanraj enters the hall amid baby shower dragging Adhik with force. Pakhi tries to stop Vanraj from hurting Adhik but he doesn’t listen and slaps him in rage. Anuj gets furious and questions Vanraj about how dare he slap Adhik like that in front of everyone. Vanraj says he saw Adhik getting closer to Pakhi in his room which leaves everyone shocked.
However, Pakhi says she herself went with Adhik nobody forced her and she likes him and he also likes her. Pakhi’s confession leaves Vanraj, Anupama and others shocked. Pakhi even crosses the line as she taunts her father Vanraj for having an affair and Anupama for marrying at an old age.
It will be interesting to watch what happens next in the show.
