Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar upcoming film Laxmmi Bomb, whose trailer has been recently released, received lot of backlash from Hindu community. Recently, the Hindu Sena had demanded the change in the film’s title, and they had written a letter to the Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar.
The letter read, ‘If our demand is not fulfilled, all my Hindu Sainiks shall protest against this movie outside every Cinema hall where this movie may be screened across the nation. I request everyone belonging to the Hindu community to boycott the movie if the movie title is not changed before the release’.
Today, the film director Raghava Lawrence went for its censor certificate and post the screening the makers had a discussion with CBFC. Keeping in mind the sentiments of its viewers, the producers of the film – Shabinaa Khan, Tusshar Kapoor and Akshay Kumar have now decided to change the title of their film. The title of the film has now changed from ‘Laxmmi Bomb‘ to ‘Laxmii‘.

Speaking of film, the trailer of horror-comedy film Laxmii had recently dropped online and received a great response from viewers. Akshay‘s transgender character has created lot of buzz. Laxmii is scheduled to premiere on 9th November on Disney+ Hotstar VIP.
