Star Plus’ show Anupamaa is creating lot of buzz nowadays with its interesting storyline. The show stars Rupali Ganguly, Sudhanshu Pandey, Madalsa Sharma and Gaurav Khanna in pivotal roles. The current track of the show revolves around Anupamaa consoling traumatized Malvika after learning about her horrible past, and Anuj blames himself for his sister’s bad mental health.
Malvika has been a victim of domestic violence, marital abuse and depression. She was mentally and physically abused by her ex-husband. Anuj feels himself guilty for marrying her sister to such a horrible man, who did not care about her wife’s consent and abused her.
In the latest episode, Vanraj went to check Anuj and Anupama after they did not comes to new years party. Vanraj gets shocked seeing Malvika and Anuj’s heartbroken condition due to the dreadful past. Vanraj then offers his help to Anuj and says he would support Anuj in fixing things from Malvika’s past.
However, the involvement of Vanraj Shah in this whole track about marital abuse has left the audience angry and disappointed. The viewers of the show has expressed how it’s unfair on the writers’ part to ‘white wash’ Vanraj for all the harassment he did with Anupama in the past including having an extramarital affair and the mental trauma that he had given her.
