Udaariyaan actor Ankit Gupta on 3.1 TRP rating; “The journey has been phenomenal & I hope that we sustain with decent ratings”

Colors’ show Udaariyaan has seen a remarkable journey and it stars Ankit Gupta, Priyanka Choudhary, Isha Malviya and Karan V Grover in pivotal roles. The show has entered into the TOP 5 list a while ago and now it ranked number 2 across various channels. It has grabbed 3.1 TRPs ratings this week which is the highest numbers so far for the show.

In an interaction with India Forums, Udaariyaan actor Ankit

Gupta opened up on achieving highest ratings. He said, “Ironically, in the show, Fateh, Jasmine and Tejo’s basic dreams have been broken. Fateh wanted to get married to Jassu, Jasmine wanted to stay in Canada while Tejo wanted to continue staying in Punjab; all these dreams have come to a standstill, but off-screen, our dreams have taken the much-awaited udaariyaan (smiles). When, we started off with the show, we were striving hard to click with the audience and TRPs weren’t that great. It was a distant dream to touch a 3.1 rating. The journey has been phenomenal and I hope and pray that we sustain with decent ratings.”

He thanked fans for their immense love and support, “I would like to thank our fans for their continuous and unconditional love and I request them to keep showering the love and support.”

The current track of the show revolves around Fateh ditching Jasmine after exposing her evil deeds. He has left Moga to punish himself for hurting Tejo & family. He is staying in Gurudaspur doing odd jobs for daily living. On the other side, Jasmine is plotting against Fateh and Tejo to take revenge from them.

Udaariyaan, produced by Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta under their production banner Dreamiyata Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. & Devirosh Films. The show also stars actors like Lokesh Batta, Chetna Singh, Virsa Singh Riar, Abhishek Kumar, Ram Aujla, Rashmeet Kaur Sethi, Abhiraaj Chawla among others. The show is getting good TRP ratings and it is number one fiction show on colors channel.
