Bollywood veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan tested positive for coronavirus on Saturday. The actor has admitted to Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai. Amit Ji informed about the same on Twitter.
Taking to his twitter handle, Amitabh Bachchan revealed that he has tested positive for coronavirus and have been shifted to hospital. Amit Ji also mentioned that his staff members also undergone for COVID-19 tests and waiting for their tests result. He also asked all those who have been in close proximity to him to get tested for Covid-19.
He tweeted, “T 3590 -I have tested CoviD positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. family and staff undergone tests , results awaited .. All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested !.”

Doctors have confirmed to India Today that Amitabh Bachchan was symptomatic and was self-isolating at home before being taken to the Nanavati Hospital on Saturday evening.
