Star Plus show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been making lot of headlines nowadays with interesting twist and turns. The present track of Harshad Chopda-Pranali Rathod starrer revolves around Akshara planning a football match with college boys to make Abhir play the game as he is in depression ever since Abhinav passed away. Whole family preps up for football match as they hopes Abhir will come to play but all goes in vain as he does not reacts.
The latest episode saw Akshara and others dressing up in Yellow Jersey as they gets ready for football match. As they were about to leave, Abhir comes and says all the best to Akshu while she asks him to come along to cheer for their team. However, Abhir refuses initially but later agrees to come.

At ground, Abhi announces their readiness to play match while Akshu states that their purpose is to encourage Abhir to play. Just then, the group of boys arrives on their motorcycles and laughs at seeing old age people in Akshara’s team. Mimi directs the boys’ to see their banner that reads “Badtameez Boys”. Boys challenges Akshara’s team seeing the banner.
Meanwhile, Kairav waits for Muskan as she did not come. He later decides to not contact her as he is angry with her. Further, both team starts match and Ruhi makes a goal. Boy gives tuff fight to Akshara’s team. Abhir watches the game and analysis the situation, identifies strengths and weaknesses of opposite team players. Later, Akshu’s team thinks about Abhir as they plans to make him play. Ruhi sees Abhir coming and signals Abhimanyu, Akshara.
Abhir offers them water and gives them tips to play. At the end of the episode, Abhimanyu pretends to be injured so that Abhir play the match. Kairav challenges Abhimanyu to walk, but he struggles. They take Abhi out of the ground while Abhir watches all this. Will Abhir join the match to make Akshu win?
Muskan furious at Abhimanyu for replacing Abhinav in Akshara’s life
The upcoming episode will see Abhimanyu asking Akshara if he can stay in Goenka house until Abhir’s exam as he is very worried about it. Manish tells him that he can stay as long as he wants. However, Muskan gets upset seeing Abhimanyu’s closeness with family.
Next morning, Abhimanyu collides with the table mistakenly and Abhinav’s picture falls down. Muskaan gets angry and accuses Abhi of intentionally displacing the photo. Abhi tells her why would he do that. Muskaan accuses him saying he is trying to replace Abhinav and erase him from their memories too. Akshara asks Muskaan to calm down. But, Muskan in anger accuses Akshu of replacing Abhinav with Abhimanyu Birla. Muskaan’s statement shocks Akshara, Manish and others.
