The Call of the Wild is an American live-action CGI-animated adventure film. It is based on the Jack London‘s 1903 novel The Call of the Wild. Its a remake of Twentieth Century Pictures 1935 film of the same name. The film is directed by Chris Sanders and written by Michael Green.

The Call of the Wild is a story of Buck, a big-hearted dog whose blissful domestic life is turned upside down. When he is suddenly uprooted from his California home. And transplanted to the exotic wilds of the Alaskan Yukon during the Gold Rush of the 1890s. Buck experiences the adventure of a lifetime, ultimately finding his true place in the world and becoming his own master. It is produced by 20th Century Fox. The film is scheduled to be released on 20 February 2020.
