Former Bigg Boss winner Shilpa Shinde, who made her digital debut with Paurashpur, is receiving lot of praise for her performance in the web series. The show is out on ALT Balaji and Zee5 and has received a great response from viewers so far.
While the show is indeed one of its kind with a story that has its own uniqueness, it also has some bold scenes given the concept that it deals with.
Speaking about bold scenes, Shilpa Shinde in a conversation with India-Forums talked about this subject. The actress quoted saying, ”I have always said that if there is a bold scene subject wise, it is okay, but it is not needed unnecessarily. And there is no such thing on our show, everything is situational, and even then, it is not going all out, the director has shot it aesthetically, and it does not look vulgar at all. When you see it, you’ll only be conveyed what needs to be conveyed when looking at the scenes.”
Shilpa also talked about the show at large and what got her on board. She said that this is very sensitive subject where every character has something different, it defines every character, and when you do this on OTT, it makes a big difference. She quoted, “I was very sure that I want to do something different this time and when I received a call, I was told this is a mix of ‘Utsav’ and ‘Kamasutra’ and I had different reactions to both. But nothing is bad, obviously, because how were we born, but what does the subject say, how is the making, it depends on the artist that what are you doing. I felt that this is going to be different and I had faith in myself.”
