Actress Debattama Saha, who became a household name with her portrayal of Anokhi in Star Plus show Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani, now spoke about how the show has truly been a game-changer for her. The actress has gained immense popularity with her stint in the show. She was seen opposite actor Karanvir Sharma in the show, and their on-screen chemistry got lot of love and appreciation from viewers.
In an interaction with India Forums, Debattama talked about how the show has truly been a game-changer. The actress said, “I swear, the show has changed my life and I am really really thankful to all my fans. To be frank, where do I see myself is something I haven’t planned yet. As of now, I am giving auditions and relaxing right now, just going with the flow. I am going to see to it that I do something really nice even next time and bring justice to the next character I do.”
When she was asked about how does she thinks things have changed for her, and to that, she said, “Yes, you know, to achieve something, everyone has to struggle. To get this show, I also struggled a lot and things changed as in the best thing that happened to me is I gained confidence, so whatever I do now, I do it confidently. I feel great about anything I am doing, and things get easy in multiple ways because of that.”
SAAKK went off-air on 24th July 2021. Earlier, in a chat with TellyChakkar, Debattama shared her reaction when she heard the news of show’s wrap-up. She said, “I kept praying and asked everyone in my family to pray for the show as I feel that prayers work. I didn’t lose hope till the last day. I was hoping that the makers would take the show digitally. I was hoping for a miracle. But it didn’t happen.”
