Star Plus show Anupamaa starring Rupali Ganguly, Gaurav Khanna and Sudhanshu Pandey in lead, has been grabbing lot of attention nowadays. Recently, actor Paras Kalnawat who played the role of Samar in the show has been ousted by makers due to a breach of contract. Reportedly, Paras signed Colors TV show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 10 before informing the makers of ‘Anupamaa’ post which the producers terminated his contract.
Producer Rajan Shahi released a statement that read, “We as a production house won’t entertain breach of contract. We have terminated his services as an actor with immediate effect. We wish him all the best for his future endeavors.”
Recently, there were news about actor Suvansh Dhar being roped in to play new Samar. But now, as per latest reports, actor Sagar Parekh has been approached to play new Samar in the show post Paras Kalnawat’s exit. Sagar is known for his stint in shows like Internet Wala Love, Balika Vadhu 2, Fanaa Ishq Mein Marjawan, Kaisi Yeh Yaariyaan. Sagar has started shooting for the show ‘Anupamaa’ and he himself confirmed the news of his entry via his Instagram stories.

Other hand, Paras Kalnawat on his exit from show told ETimes that his character in Anupamaa was not really growing. He said that he did not want his character timing to reduced to just a family member standing in the background doing nothing on the show. Paras further said that when Jhalak offered, he found it exciting and had informed the makers how he felt about his role in Anupamaa.
Anupamaa, produced by Rajan Shahi under Director’s Kut Productions. The show is based on Star Jalsha’s Bengali series Sreemoyee. There’s also a Marathi version of the show which runs on Star Pravah titled Aai Kuthe Kai Karte. The show stars Gaurav Khanna, Sudhanshu Pandey, Aneri Vajani, Madalsa Sharma, Alpana Buch, Arvind Vaidya, Paras Kalnawat, Aashish Mehrotra. Muskan Bamne, Shekhar Shukla, Nidhi Shah, Anagha Bhosale and Tassnim Sheikh.
