After Bigg Boss, Rashami‘s life has changed a lot, her relationship with her mother has become better and all things between the two got sorted. Now a days, actress shares a great bond with her mom Rasila Desai. Like many other actors, who have different screen name, Rashami too is one of them, who changed her name.
During a live interaction with Pinkvilla amidst of lockdown, Rashami named as Shivani Desai on her birth. But later changed her name to Divya and then finally Rashami. And, all this was done by the actress on her mother’s suggestion. Rasila Desai revealed of her being scared of letting her daughter make her career in the entertainment business which has several uncertainties, also she weighing the pressure of the community, she decided to change her name. While she first asked to have a screen name Divya, later by consulting an astrologer friend, she changed her name to Rashami.
